We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge structural systems for Commercial facilities with a primary emphasis on steel frame structures, reinforced concrete structures, Masonry Structures, and PEMB configurations. As a Structural Engineer at SSOE, you will have a foundation in structural principles, structural analysis & calculations, and a proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Knowledge of US Codes: ASCE7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360
Masonry & Wood experience
Post-tensioned concrete
Seismic Design Category D / High seismic design experience / basics knowledge
