This transformation follows a deliberate three-stage lifecycle: Stage 1: Cultivate, Stage 2: Capture, and Stage 3: Create Value.

 

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Project Execution stage of business development. Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Business Development, you will be the Project Manager of our operational infrastructure. Your role is to help create the standards, processes, and work instructions that ensure our execution consistently matches the value propositions created during the Cultivate and Capture phases. You will have the chance to engineer the system that allows our technical delivery to become our greatest sales tool.


In this role, you are the link between our promises and our performance. By standardizing how we execute, you will directly influence our ability to scale into new markets and win complex business. Your success will be measured by our collective ability to capture higher fees and increase proposal hit rates through demonstrated repeatable operational excellence. You are not just following a manual; you are writing it to ensure that every project we deliver reinforces the SSOE brand as a leader in efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain company-wide standards and procedures for project execution. You will build the foundational work instructions that move our teams from fragmented workflows to a unified, high-performance engine.
  • Audit and refine "Stage 3" activities to ensure they are in total lockstep with the client pain points identified in "Stage 1" and the technical solutions promised in "Stage 2."
  • Lead the cultural and operational shift toward "interdependence." You will work across departments to break down silos, driving the adoption of unified standards that increase speed to market and internal efficiency.
  • Develop processes, procedures, work instructions, and ways of doing work for internal clients.
  • Creating from scratch processes and procedures for business development.
  • Define and track KPIs that connect operational improvement to business outcomes—specifically fee capture and proposal win rates.
  • Build a scalable framework that supports entry into new business sectors and ensures internal maturity keeps pace with external growth.
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Engineering preferred (or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required expertise).
  • Must possess a valid Professional Degree and License (Título and Cédula Profesional).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on process engineering, strategic implementation, or operational leadership.
  • Extensive experience in Senior Project Management, with a demonstrated focus on process design and the development of work instructions for internal clients.
  • A proven track record of building PMOs or operational frameworks from scratch within a professional services or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency (must be comfortable holding technical and strategic conversations with U.S.-based leadership).
