The candidatre selected wil perform a variety of routine to intermediate structural design assignments for semiconductor manufacturing facilities and tool installation projects, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of a project engineer or department manager

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

  • Analyzes sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
  • Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems.
  • Utilize Revit to develop structural models, ensuring high levels of accuracy, data integrity, and cross-discipline coordination within the BIM environment.
  • Create and maintain AutoCAD drawing templates, blocks, and layer standards specific to semiconductor facility requirements
  • Develop structural modifications and tie-in details for existing facilities using AutoCAD for renovation and expansion projects
  • Perform routine designs such as beams, columns, foundations, and vibration-sensitive equipment supports, preparing layouts for review by the responsible engineer
  • Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
  • Apply discipline-specific design standards, codes, and best practices.

  • Works under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
  • Solves design problems but is expected to need assistance.
  • Perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts.
  • May have minimal external customer contact.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Highly preferred) or Architecture.
  • 4 + years as structural designer/modeler within similar responsibilities
  • Prior experience within large industrial projects (Automotive, Manufacturing, Semiconductor industry).
  • High efficiency in CAD
  • Basic experience with Revit (Structural design). 
  • Advanced English.
